Due Diligence is Past Due

We must be reminded of the profound significance of freedom, especially the cherished freedom of speech and that we are created in the image of God. But we must not neglect this gift. Rooted in the Judeo-Christian values that form the bedrock of our nation, this fundamental right has played a crucial role in shaping the United States into a beacon of liberty and prosperity but each step away from God leads even the children to be sacrificed to the wicked.

We find ourselves at a critical juncture where these principles are evaporating challenging the very essence of our representative republic. Our nation in failing to defend our borders, our language, our culture and worst of all our children. The most wicked of results such as child trafficking, and state sponsored mutilation of children, we have most certainly failed.

The Fourth of July represents the triumph of liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It is a day to honor the brave patriots who fought for our independence, recognizing that our nation was founded upon the belief in the God-given rights of every individual. Among these rights, freedom of speech holds a paramount position, empowering citizens to voice their thoughts, opinions, and dissent without fear of reprisal.

The current corporate oligarchy led by the financial sector and swiftly followed by education and corporate kings is snuffing out what was once known and taught as “inalienable rights” and replacing equality with the lie of equity.

It is completely acceptable to know the historical truth of white privilege led to the writing of the US Constitution and the founding of the greatest country in all of history. And now we have failed, but will we return, we will pray for restoration and will we respond?

We live in an age where OpenAI is not open, where Wikipedia once open sourced is controlled by those that deny the truth and in many cases are the source of misinformation. Yet, while in the midst of these deep controls we have the opportunity to be part of a beaconing call for the “sound of freedom”, that must be heard and must be evaluated and responded to.

When media outlets become gatekeepers of information, selectively choosing what is permissible and what is not, it hampers the democratic discourse that our Founding Fathers so ardently fought to protect. It is essential to remember that the freedom of speech is not just about the right to express popular opinions but also to challenge established narratives and engage in constructive dialogue.

Instead of resorting to censorship, we should strive for a culture of responsible speech, where truth, respect, and critical thinking prevail. As Christian conservatives, we are called to emulate the teachings of Christ, who encouraged compassion, humility, and love for our neighbors. Through open dialogue and respectful engagement, we can foster an environment where diverse perspectives can be shared, examined, and refined.

As we celebrate the Fourth of July, let us recommit ourselves to upholding the principles of freedom of speech by embracing the power of open dialogue, collaboration, and the free exchange of ideas, we can ensure that our nation remains a beacon of liberty and justice for all. Together, let us strive to protect the sacred rights bestowed upon us by our Creator, do not fail to proclaim the truth or risk the wrath of God.
